About the problem and how it is solved

During the menopause women inevitably experience several different symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings and more with different severity.

PhenomX gives support to the women embarking their menopausal journey, and helps them keep track of their symptoms and their nutrition input so they can make valuable insights and reduce the severity and frequency of their symptoms.

PhenomX Health is an international team of scientists, clinicians, engineers business strategy and supply chain experts who’s main goal is to improve health, and empower women on the menopausal journey.

The Design Process

When it came to the design progress of PhenomX first we built up the logical structure of functionality of the application, and after we started creating the user interface design as well, which consists of these softer shades of purple colours which represent femininity and strength.

The application has quite lots of illustrations and icons as well, that help the users’ navigation, and make the user experience even more engaging.

About Software

Our objective was to create iOS and Android apps that store data in a structured manner. Flutter was used to facilitate building for both platforms, while Nest.js was employed to create a well-documented API layer with Swagger integration.

To efficiently store structured data, we selected Google Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL). Additionally, Cloud Run was implemented to serve the Nest.js APIs to the mobile applications in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
