Helveticcare is a movement for a self-determined life at an older age. The website aims to provide people with support in their everyday lives - across an entire range of topics.

The Design Process

In the first stage of the design process our main focus was to create a design for the Angebote page, where the users can see a collection of offers. The main principles during the creation of the product design were to make the screens as accessible and as clear as possible, so that all age groups including elderly people can access and receive information easily.

About Software

Helveticcare, catering to a retired audience with its array of blogs, offers, and retirement house listings, effectively manages its content using Next.js’s Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) and Strapi. This setup allows easy updates and maintenance of articles by non-IT staff, ensuring that new content is quickly available for users, a key factor for SEO success.

The backend, supported by Google Cloud, enables efficient monitoring and scalability in response to traffic changes. Additionally, the frontend’s hosting on Vercel assures a smooth and responsive user experience. The combination of Next.js, Strapi, Google Cloud, and Vercel hosting provides Helveticcare with a reliable and user-friendly platform, adept at meeting the specific needs of its audience.
